Amenia Monarchs 7  Prospect Chargers 4
Amenia spotted Prospect four runs in the top of the first inning, then chipped away for the win at Doc Bartlett Field in Amenia. Tom Moore and Jim Pomeisl each had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Monarchs. Dave Mosher added a double. Travis Hyatt picked up the win while Jim Pomeisl notched the save for Amenia (8-8). Adam O’Leary doubled for the Chargers (1-14). John Artes took the loss.
Waterbury Wild 5  Watertown Blaze 3
Jim Dimon threw a complete game for Waterbury in a win over Watertown at Waterville Park.
Dimon gave up two earned runs on five hits and struck out eight for the Wild. Christian Cuevas had a two-run single while Ken Kerski added a double for Waterbury. Connor McEvoy tripled for the Blaze.
Naugatuck Dogs  3  Terryville Black Sox  0
Jeff Sturm hit a three-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead Naugy onto victory. Both teams finished with 5 hits apiece in a game that was played in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Kenny Graveline tossed a complete game for Naugy with 10 strikeouts. Sean Mille-Jones doubles. Joe Deming had two hits for Terryville.
