Gary Novakowski picking up the win going 7 strong allowing 3 hits and striking out 8. Blasius was led offensively by Conner Goggins and Justin Mac each having 3 hits and 2 rbi’s. Eric Rovinetti and Fran Phalan added 2 hits each. Torrington scored its only run in the first on a RBI single by Cody Lemieux. Blasius plays Wolcott Thursday at the Hotch.

Wolcott Scrappers 5 Tri-Town Trojans 3
Justin Koutros went the distance allowing six hits to pace Wolcott. Mike Vaccarelli, Ryan Soucy, Mike Perugini and Eric Soucy all had two hits to lead Wolcott’s thirteen hit day. Steve Price and Joe Bunnell had an RBI each for Tri-Town. Wolcott improves to 6-3, Tri-Town suffers first loss 8-1.
Litchfield Cowboys 12 Canton Crushers 3
Eddie Pequignot pitched masterfully on this Tuesday night holding the Canton Crushers to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings. For the Crushers, Jake Bryant was 1-3 with 2 runs scored and Mike Trem added the third run going 1-2. The Cowboy offense was led by Justin Binkowski, 1-1 with an RBI followed by Mike Odenwaelder who hit a few balls out of the infield that resulted in 4 RBI. Other standouts include Stanley Rijo, 3-5 with 3 runs scored, and Pequignot getting a hit finally going 2-3.
Terryville Black Sox 8 Naugatuck Dogs 0
The Blacksox bats finally came alive in the 8th game of the season, pounding 11 hits in an 8-0 victory over the Naugy Dogs. Chris Callahan led the offense with 4 hits including a 2 run HR and 3 runs scored. Chris Ayer added 2 hits, 2 runs and an RBI and Kyle Skidmore remained hot going 1-2 with a 3 run home run and 2 BBs. Kody Kerski was dominant on the mound once again, scattering 3 hits while striking out 10 in a complete game effort.
