The Watertown Blaze (12-0) remain undefeated with a 7-0 victory over the Terryville Black Sox (10-3). The Blaze pounded 12 hits led by Tony Patane (3 hits, 2 doubles, 2 RBI) Nick De Lotto (3 hits) and Conor McEvoy (3 hits, RBI). Charlie Benson took the win on the mound going 6 strong innings scattering 3 hits and striking out 7. Matt Quintana finished off the game in the seventh with a strikeout. Zach Dandrea had 2 hits including a double for Terryville.
Tri-Town Trojans 7 Bristol Greeners 0
Bobby Chatfield pitched 7 innings for the win giving up 4 hits with 5k’s. Brandon Kudla led the way, going 3-3 with 2 RBI. Steve Price 2-4 with a 2RBI double, Landon Gardella also was 2-4 with a double. TJ Wyrnubk was 2-3 for the Bristol Greeners.
Litchfield Cowboys 14 Amenia Monarchs 4
Cowboys win over Amenia 14-4. Justin Binkowski threw a complete game scattering 7 hits. Ed Pequignot was the Cowboys biggest hitter with three hits and 4 RBI while Steve Harrison and Stanley Rijo also added two hits. Dustyn Marfyak also added a base hit and two RBI.
Burlington Hunters 5 Valley Thunder 3
The Burlington Hunters picked up their second win against the Valley Thunder on Thursday 5-3. Alex Stackpole threw all seven for Burlington, giving up three and striking out eleven. Paul Adamcyk had two hits for the thunder, and Ricki Parenteau led off the 6th with a leadoff triple. Burlington’s offense was lead by multiple hit games by Joe Napolitano, Alex Hansen, and a big 2 RBI single from Ty Morin to take the lead. Valley Thunder falls to 1-12. Burlington advances to 2-10.
Wolcott Scrappers 3 Thomaston Threshers 2
Matt Finkenzeller threw five innings, allowed five hits, struck out four and gave up two unearned runs to help Wolcott improve to 10-3. Israel Lugo had a two run double and Ryan Andrade added an RBI. Andrew Jones had a two run single for Thomaston. TJ Williams threw the last two innings to pick up the save. Scott Bellamere had two hits and hit a scorching line-drive out to center field with the bases loaded to end the game. Thomaston falls to 3-10.
Bethlehem Plowboys 2 Canton Crushers 0

P Jesse Darcy struck out 12 and allowed just two hits to lead the Bethlehem Plowboys to a 2-0 victory over Canton Thursday night at Bowdoin Field. The Plowboys (11-3) scored a pair of unearned runs in the top of the sixth inning thanks to a pair of Canton errors. Canton pitcher Taylor Riley gave up just four hits and struck out five. There was just one walk in the game. The Crushers slip to 2-9.
Tribury Twisters 10 East Mountain Cougars 3
Ben Guisto with the win on the mound. The Twisters scattered 15 hits over the 7 inning midweek game.
Naugatuck Dogs 9 Winsted Whalers 0
Lance Stevens pitched a complete game shut out allowing two hits while striking out 13 to lead Naugy to a 9-0 win over Winsted at Walker Field. The Dogs were led by Trent Levi who went 2-4 with a triple and 3 RBI’s. Ryan Plourde went 3-4 with 2 doubles and Kyle Murphy went 2-4 with a double and an RBI for Naugy. Jeff Rustico had two hits and two RBI’s and Christian Cuevas had two hits and an RBI for the Dogs. Charlie Putnam doubled and Johnny Lippcott singled for Winsted.
