Bethlehem Plowboys  8  Thomaston Threshers  2
Bethlehem and Thomaston had 6 hits and 2 errors apiece but the Plow came out on top 8-2. Tyler Erickson picked up the win on the mound for Bethlehem while Tony Geraci had 3 hits, 2 doubles, and 3 RBI and Matt Parlatto added an RBI double for the winners. Nick Urso doubled for the Threshers while Justin Chere suffered the defeat.
Litchfield Cowboys  7  Waterbury Wild  3
Joey Serafine scattered four hits over seven innings and struck out seven as the Cowboys topped the Wild 7-3. Adam Claire had three RBI while Mike Odenwaelder, Ben Murphy, Chris Blazek, and Colin Dickenson all had two hits apiece for Litchfield (2-0). Fraz Kader had two RBI for the Wild and Ken Kerski struck out seven in seven innings for Waterbury (0-2).
Tri-Town Trojans  17  Lakeville Outlaws  1
Casey McDonald collected three hits, drove in a pair of runs and scored another as the Trojans clobbered the ‘building’ Outlaws 17-1. Joel Judson pitched five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out eight and also had two hits, two runs scored and four RBI. Steve Price added two RBI and Miles Scribner chipped in with two hits and a run scored for Tri-Town (2-0).
Brass City Brew  3  Ansonia Valley Vikings  1
Eric Gormley tossed seven Innings, gave up one run on five hits and struck out five for the Brew. Gary Miller had a pair of hits while Craig Prasauckas added a base hit with an RBI for Brass City (2-0). Julian Sobin had two hits and a run scored while Ryan Genoa chipped in with an RBI single for Ansonia, who has lost “very tough” consecutive 3-1 ballgames to start out their franchise in the Tri-State League.
Wolcott Scrappers 11  Terryville Black Sox  1
Zach Sehnal tossed a one-hitter with one walk , nine strikeouts  as the Scrappers knocked off Terryville at BAW Complex. The lone hit given up was a bunt single by the Black Sox Kevin LaRose and the run given up was unearned. Ryan Soucy had two singles and a double, while Justin Koutros added two singles, a double, and two RBI. Adam LaCapra and Eric Soucy both had two RBI. Both teams sit at (1-1).
Naugatuck Dogs  4  Torrington Rebels  1
Lance Stevens pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and Sean Miller-Jones homered, doubled, singled, and drove in two runs for the winners.  Jeff Sturm and Brian Russell added two hits apiece for Naugy (2-0) while Devon Murphy doubled. Conner Beirfeldt tripled and scored the lone run for Torrington (1-1).
Watertown Blaze  9  Amenia Monarchs  4  (11 innings)
It took 11 innings, but Watertown Blaze managed to put away the Amenia Monarchs 9-4 on Sunday at Amenia Park. With the score tied at four in the 11th Watertown capitalized on fielding error, plating Chris Ayer and Eric April. Tim Harris led Watertown with 3 hits on the day while Chris Ayer, Kellen Parkinson, and Vic DeSimone all had 2 hits apiece. Jimmy Caporale kept Amenia off the board during his six innings of work. Caporale allowed four hits, three walks and struck out one gaining the victory for Watertown in relief. Ken Shufelt led Amenia with 2 hits and 2 rbi.
Winsted Whalers  11  Prospect Chargers  2
Adam Piechowski hurled six innings scattering two hits and striking out seven to pick up the win. Charlie Putnam was 3-5 with two doubles, one RBI, and two runs scored. Ricky Langer was 3-4 with one double, three RBI and three runs scored. Dan Gugliotti tripled for Prospect.
