Naugatuck Dogs 2 Terryville Black Sox 1
Adam Neveski pitched a complete game allowing 1 run on 3 hits, 1 BB, and 1 HBP while striking out 3 to lead Naugy to a 2-1 victory over Terryville outdueling Kenny Kerski who was solid himself over 7 innings of work before Jake Kawecki pitched the final two innings. Devin Murphy got the Dogs on the board in the first with a sac fly scoring Ryan Plourde (2-5). Terryville tied the game in the bottom of the second on a Kody Kerski sac fly. Macky Cianciolo and Ryan Russell each had two hits including back to back doubles in the fourth with Cianciolo scoring what proved to be the game winning run.
Blasius Chevrolet 6 Amenia Monarchs 0
Gary Novakowski got the win Sunday going 5 strong striking out 4. Austin Green came in for the 6th and 7th only giving up 1 hit and 2k’s and Dave Sacco closing out the 8th and 9th to finish the game. Blasius got on the board in the 1st inning with a grand slam by Louis Serrano which would be enough. Mike Butchovic had 2 hits for blasius. Leading the way offensively for Amenia was Tom Downey with 2 hits. Blasius plays next vs Winsted on sunday. We would like to thank our sponsor for their continued support.
Burlington Hunters 5 Canton Crushers 0
The Hunters beat the Crushers 5-0 thanks to a stellar performance on the mound by Alex Stackpole. The Hunters struggled keeping the book without Bob “No Eraser Needed” Hansen. The Hunters were led offensively by Steven Caruso (2-4, 2RBI) and Zack Martin, who finally has a batting average. For the Crushers, Jake Bryant started on the mound and pitched the entire game. The Crushers were led offensively by Mike Vandelagart who went 1-3.
Bethlehem Plowboys 15 Torrington Rebels 1
Tyler Erickson gave up just 1 hit over five innings with seven strikeouts to pick up the win for the Plowboys. Jon Wilson was 3-5, Matt Mancini 3-5 with 4 RBI’s, Mike Chiovitti 2-5 with 3 RBI’s led the Bethlehem offense. Coach Rich Revere got his first knock of the year at the plate as every Plowboy starter had at least two hits.

Litchfield Cowboys 16 Bristol Greeners 1
On a sweltering afternoon the Litchfield Cowboys beat the Bristol Greeners 16-1 at LHS. The offense was led by Steve Harrison, 3-4 3RBI, Drew Gauvain, 2-5 with a 2 run homerun, Dan Hedden and Steve Consiglio both going 2-4 with 2 RBI’s. Consiglio also dominated on the mound going 5 strong giving up 2 hits and 1 run. For the Greeners, AJ Lorenzetti and Steve Bartolome led the team with 2 hits each and latter scoring the lone run. Cowboys play the 66ers next Thursday at home.
