Game suspended in 7th inning with a score of 4-1 Tri-Town due to lightning storm/lights going out. Will be continued on Sunday 2pm at Fuessenich Park.

Cowboys take game 3 in a high scoring affair, the offense was led by Bryan Fialla with 2 hits, homeruns by Brian Hungerford and Chris Blazek. Cowboys went up 6-2 in the 4th only for Watertown to score 8 in the 5th capped by a Tony Potato 3 run homer. Cowboys answered back with 5 in the 7th and Justin Binkowski shut the door for final 4 2/3 innings scattering 3 hits and no runs.
Bobby Chatfield threw 5 innings with 6 strikeouts and Connor Murray and James Cramphin came in the close out the game. Casey McDonald had two hits and two RBIs, Kyle Osolin had two hits and an RBI while James Cramphin and Bobby Smith added two hits each. For the Brew, Gary Miller had 3 hits and Steve Carosella and Matt Wahl had two hits each.

Friday August 14
The Watertown Blaze took game 1 of the Tri-State League Semi-finals over the Litchfield Cowboys 8-2 Friday night at Fuessenich Park in Torrington. Pitchers Charlie Benson of the Blaze and Joey Serefin of the Cowboys battled all game, both going 9 strong innings. The Blaze bats got a couple key hits in the 9th inning scoring 4 runs to cap off the 8-2 victory. Tony Patane, Matt Paola and Chris Ayer had 2 hits a piece for the Blaze while Brian Fay had 2 hits and scored 4 runs. Adam Claire had 3 hits for Litchfield, while Ed Pequignot added 2 hits including a double.
The Tri-Town Trojans scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to take the lead with hits by Casey McDonald and Mike Fabiaschi. Miles Scribner pitched 8 innings allowing 7 hits and 7 strikeouts while James Cramphin recorded 2 strikeouts in the top of the 9th for the save as the Trojans edged the Brew 3-2. Offensively for Tri-Town, Sam Shurberg had 3 hits and Connor Murray added 2 hits. Joe Deming pitched well for Brass City, throwing 7.1 innings and keeping the Trojans off balance most of the night. Paul Novakowski and Dwight Wildman added an RBI each for the Brew.
Saturday August 15:
The Litchfield Cowboys took game #2 to even the series at one game apiece behind a complete game effort from Chris Blazek (3 hits 13ks no earned runs). Litchfield struck for 2 runs in the 3rd inning and held on for the victory to force a decisive Game #3 to be played Sunday morning 11am at Fuessenich Park. Brendon Roden and Kyle weaver had 2 hits a piece. Kyle Kennedy threw well in the loss going the distance as well for Watertown.
