Wolcott Scrappers 4 Winsted Whalers 3
Justin Koutros threw six innings, allowed two hits and three unearned runs while striking out four to lead Wolcott. Matt Cyr had the decisive RBI single in the sixth scoring Mike Perugini ( 1-1 2B, 2 walks, R). Clete Lorusso had two hits, three stolen bases and two runs scored. Ryan Soucy added an RBI single as well. TJ Williams struck out the side in the 7th inning for the save. Charlie Putnam and Johnny Lippincott singled for Winsted.
