The Brass City Brew and Terryville Black Sox were locked in a pitchers dual through five at the old Terryville High School, Wednesday evening.  Tim McCarthy earned the win on two days rest going six innings for the Brew allowing seven hits, striking out four, and allowing zero runs.  Brass City broke away with six runs in the top of the sixth. Sam Sirica ignited the inning with a leadoff single and was followed up by a RBI single by Steve Carosella, 2 RBI double by Eric Rovinetti, a 2 run homerun by Paul Novakowski, and an RBI double by Matt Wahl.  Matt Morrisen lead Terryville going 2-3 with 2 doubles.
Bristol Greeners 4       Burlington Hunters 0
Bristol improved to 6-6 on the season behind a complete game effort by right-hander Justin Tacinelli. Tacinelli allowed just four hits in the game and the Bristol defense did not commit an error behind him . Ryan Dudzinski led the offense for Bristol (3-4, 2B, RBI), while Bobby Hay and Brendan Hayes each had a pair of hits and an RBI. For Burlington, left-hander Andrew Bunger went the distance and struck out four. Jared Holtman, Adam Peters, Sean Shanley, and Justin Cambell picked up hits for Burlington. Burlington dropped to 2-8 on the season.

Game called due to darkness in top of ninth inning tied 4-4. Will be finished at future date.
