TJ Williams threw a one hit shutout and struck out five to lead Wolcott. Justin Koutros had two hits and an RBI, Israel Lugo and an RBI double and Mike Perugini added an RBI single. Landon Gardella had the lone hit for Tritown, a single with one out in the seventh to break up the no hit bid. Williams induced a 1-6-3 double play to end the game.

Burlington Hunters 8 Winsted Whalers 1
The Burlington Hunters picked up their 6th win on Wednesday against the Winsted Whalers. Veteran Andrew Bunger picked up the 8-1 win in the mound, helped by Burlington’s 11 hits. Zak Mayo, Al Hansen, Jeff Schaffer, and Ryan Mariotti had multi hit days for the Hunters and Burlington managed to bring at least one run in five of the six played innings. Winsted’s Alex Struziwasa had an impressive three for three day with 1 RBI. Burlington advances to 6-10 and Winsted falls to 6-11.
