Bethlehem 9, Prospect 3: Tony Geraci had two hits including a three run homerun to lead Bethlehem. Jon Conlon added four hits and two runs scored. Mike O’Neil threw the first five innings to get the win. Spencer Griffin had a two run double for Prospect.
Bristol 10, Amenia 7: The Bristol Greeners defeated the Amenia Monarchs on Sunday afternoon in New York in a game that featured 30 hits; 4 of which came over that bat of Bristol’s Tyler Bush who went 4-5 with a 2B, 2 HR’s, and 4 RBIs. Geoff Pierce picked up the win for Bristol, battling through 5 innings before giving way to Mat Niedzwiecki, Tyler Cyr, and Bush in relief. Bristol had mult-hit games from Dave Casanova, Mitch Guilmette, TJ Wyrebek (3-4, RBI), Marco Ross, and Niedzwiecki. Tom Downey (2-5, RBI), Jim Pomeisl (3-5), and Caleb Huff (2-4, BB) led the offense for the Monarchs.
Wolcott 5, Brass City 3: Erik Sehnal threw six innigs allowing one earned run to pick up his third win in three starts this year. Mike Meier and Adam Lacapara each had two hits and an RBI, while Jordan Perugini added a single and an RBI also. Steve Catalina threw the last three innings not allowing a hit and only walking one. Israel Lugo had two hits and two RBI for Brass City and Gary Novakowski took the loss going six innings and allowing three earned runs.
