Bethlehem Plowboys 13 Canton Crushers 2

Ty Erikson threw a complete game allowing 2 hits and 2 unearned runs on the day while striking out 7. Matt D’Amato led the plow attack going 4-4 with 4 singles and 4 RBI’s. Ryan Reynolds hit a 2-run homer to aid the plow attack while Jon Wilson and Isaah Johnson went 4-4 and 3-3 at the dish themselves. Andrew Luis drove in two runs and Ricky Descoteaux scores 3 runs.

Wolcott Scrappers 13 Valley Thunder Ducks 9

ike Negretti picked up the win for the Scrappers allowing 8 hits and having 6 strikeouts. Scrappers had 16 hits on the day. Matt Warren with a home run and 2 singles and 3 runs scored; Caden Cloutier with 3 singles and 2 runs scored; Tony Broadhurst 3 singles and 2 RBI; Justin Rodriguez had 2 doubles 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. For the Ducks – Nick Forino had a Home Run with 2 RBI, Ryan Shiel had 3 hits and an RBI, and Tyler Pelletier had 2 singles and an RBI

Southington 66ers 14 Torrington Rebels 2

Mike ‘The Fireballer’ Fernandes continued his reign of terror with 6 strong innings allowing just 2 runs. On offense Mike Hochberg stayed hot going 3-3 2B and Brandon Cavaco 2-4, while Ben Hampson added his first career home run. Adriano Maura reached base 5 times. Greg Bodner and Jheremi Rosada stood out for the Rebels.

Amenia Monarchs 15 Blasius Chevrolet 4 (Saturday)

On Saturday afternoon the Monarchs improved to 5-1 with a 15-4 win over Blasius. Amenia opened up the scoring with a 3 run missile off the bat of Will Perotti in the first inning and would go on to add 11 more with 10 hits through the rest of the game. All but 2 of the Monarchs squad collected a hit in the game with Mackenzie Dunlop leading the team going 2-4 and an RBI. Mike Cipriano picked up his 3rd win for Amenia going 6 innings giving up 4 runs on 9 hits with 6 k’s. The Blasius team was led offensively by Eric Rovinetti, Steve Carosella, and Joe Fainor whom all had two hits a piece. Fainor would add his own Home Run in the 6th with a shot to center. Game highlights were Blasius’s Party Bus, and some great food, beer, and times shared between teams in the fan section after the game .
