The Watertown Blaze improved to 2-0 on the season pounding out 14 hits on the way to a 12-1 victory over the Winsted Whalers. The Blaze were led offensively by Conor McEvoy (3 hits, 2 runs), Tony Patane (2 hits, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Nick DeLotto (2 Hits, RBI), Kyle Tehan (2 hits, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Matt Cazlone (2 hits, 3 RBI). DJ Ouelette and Chris Ayer each added 2 RBI doubles. Mike Crimi picked up the win on the mound going 5 strong innings striking our 4 and scattering 4 hits. Ben Schumacher had 2 hits for the Whalers.
