Bristol 4 Watertown 2: Bristol improved to 5-2 on the season with a win over Watertown (8-2) on Wednesday evening at Bristol Central. For the Greeners, Brady Stouffer (2-3, 2 RBI) went the distance, striking out seven to pick up his second win of the season. At the plate, Bristol was led by Dan Rosa and Doug Beaudoin who each had key RBI singles. For the Blaze, DeSimone and Lemay each had multi-hit games. Kyle Goldstein picked up the loss in a complete game effort, striking out six along the way.
Wolcott 7, Amenia 5: The Scrappers scored all seven runs in the third inning as they rallied from a 3-0 deficit Wednesday night. Justin Koutros had two hits, an RBI and a run, and also picked up the save in relief of Sal Messina, who struck out nine in six innings. Jason Miller had a two-run single for Wolcott. For Amenia, Matt Hosier had three hits and scored a run and Matt Pomeisl doubled in two runs. Joel Judson took the loss for the Monarchs.
Mazda Dodge 7, Litchfield 3: Mike M’Sadoques picked up the complete game victory and Tim Collins had three hits including two doubles to pace the offense for Mazda.
