Pat McGee’s two-RBI double sparked the Plowboys (10-1) victory over the Chargers (1-10). Jon Conlin added a double.
Litchfield Cowboys  20  Lakeville Outlaws  1
The defending Tri-State Baseball League champion Litchfield Cowboys have picked up where they left off last season. Litchfield improved to 10-1 with a 20-1 thrashing of the Lakeville Outlaws (1-10) on Tuesday evening at Litchfield High School. Ed Pequignot went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI to lead the Cowboy offense. Caleb Buck went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. On the mound, Mike Odenwaelder pitched four scoreless innings of one-hit ball to pick up the win. Quinn McKenna gave up one unearned run on one hit in three innings of relief. Brandon Coe took the loss for the Outlaws.
Terryville Black Sox  6  Winsted Whalers  1
Zach D’Andrea, Chris Alberto and Edwin Pena all doubled for Terryville in a win over Winsted at the Old Terryville High School. D’Andrea drove in three runs while Alberto added two RBI. Pena had one run batted in for the Black Sox (5-4). Dave Alarcon threw a complete game and gave up one run on five hits. Ricky Langer tripled for the Whalers (5-6). Tyler Drew took the loss.
Tri-Town Trojans  3  Torrington Rebels  1
Miles Scribner fired a complete game for Tri-Town in a win over Torrington at Community Field in Litchfield. Scribner gave up a run on six hits, struck out three, hit one batter and walked none. Kyle Osolin doubled, drove in two runs, and scored once for the Trojans (5-5). Kyle Savo doubled and drove in a run while Casey McDonald and Joel Judson each scored a run. Austin Poucher took the loss despite giving up just three first-inning runs on three hits. Poucher struck out three and walked four in five innings. Alan Fredriksson singled and drove in a run while Chris Beck went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Greg Bodnar added a double for the Rebels (4-8).
Waterbury Wild 5  Amenia Monarchs  1
Christian Cuevas and Darryl Wilson each had RBI doubles for Waterbury in a win over Amenia at Doc Barlett Field in Amenia. Three Wild pitchers combined to allow the Monarchs just five hits. Josh Wolinski had two of those hits for Amenia.
Wolcott Scrappers  2  Brass City Brew  1
Eric Soucy’s RBI single in the top of the seventh got Wolcott past Brass City at Waterville Park.
Soucy also had a double earlier in the game. Jason Miller has an RBI single for the Scrappers (7-4). Zack Sehnal threw a complete game four-hitter with four strikeouts. Andrew Jones hit a solo homer for the Brew (6-5).
 Naugatuck Dogs  4  Thomaston Threshers  1
Matt Zahransky scattered seven hits and recorded six strikeouts in six and one-third innings as Naugy defeated Thomaston at Rotary Field. Zahransky also had a two RBI single in the sixth inning, and Trent Levi added two hits for the Dogs (8-2). Sean Miller-Jones chipped in with a double.
