Tri-Town Trojans 12 Valley Thunder 2
Jordie Scheiner pitched 7 innings to lead the Trojans past Valley Thunder. Casey McDonald started the offense with 3 hits and 2 RBIs while Mike Fabiaschi and Sam Shurberg both had RBI doubles. Landon Gardella also added two hits.

Watertown Blaze 2 Litchfield Cowboys 0
Dom Severino and Kyle Kennedy combined for a 2-0 shut out, striking out 8 and scattering 2 hits for the Blaze (10-0). Matt Paola had 2 hits including a triple, Tony Patane had 2 hits and Chris Comeau an RBI double.
Torrington Rebels 10 Tribury Twisters 7
The Torrington Rebels improved to 8-1 on the season with a 10-7 victory over the Tribury Twisters. After a three run first inning start for Torrington, the Twisters came back with four runs of their own. Led by Austin Patenaude (3-4, 2 RBI, 2 runs) and Roberto Santiago (3-4, 2 RBI, 2 runs), the Rebels were able to outscore the hot bats of the Twisters who compiled ten hits and seven runs. Cody Lemieux picked up the win on the mound to improve to 3-0.
Wolcott Scrapper 6 Bristol Greeners 2
Justin Koutros threw seven innings, allowed seven hits, struck out five and gave up one earned run as Wolcott improved to 7-3. Eric Soucy and Ryan Andrade each had two RBI singles. Zach Sehnal singled, doubled and scored twice. Tom Curtain took the loss for Bristol who fell to 5-5.
Naugatuck Dogs 10 Canton Crushers 6
Matt Zahornasky pitched a complete game to lead Naugy to a 10-6 victory over Canton at Rotary Field. The Dogs were led by Jeff Sturm (2-2 2B, 2 HBP, RBI, 3 runs), Sean Miller-Jones (2-3 2B, 2 RBI, BB, 2 runs), and Devin Murphy (2B, run). Kyle Murphy and Ryan Ploude both had hits and added RBi’s for Naugy. Jim Spirito had 3 hits including 2 doubles and an RBI for Canton.
Bethlehem Plowboys 1 Terryville Black Sox 0
In a pitchers duel between Billy Armstrong (10 strikeouts) and Rob Geraci, Bethlehem was able to push one run across in the bottom of the six. Greg Campbell worked a bases loaded walk scoring Mike Milius. Pat O’Neill then came in to record the save in the 7th.
