Monday June 21: Tri-Town 8, Mazda Dodge 6: Dan McCarthy had two hits and two RBI and Jon Smart had three hits and 1 RBI for Tri-Town. Steve Price added two hits for the Trojans while Nick Urso homered for Mazda Dodge.
Sunday June 20
Tribury 16, Wolcott 7:  Wolcott’s Ryan Andrade (double, 2 RBI, 2 runs), Ryan Soucy (double) and Eric Soucy (double) led the Scrappers to a 7-5 lead after two innings; then Tribury relievers Brian Cyr (3 innings) and Taylor Searles (4 innings) slammed the door on Wolcott’s hitters. Meanwhile, Pavers Ross Allen (4-for-4, 5 RBI, triple, 3 runs scored), Dan Perez (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored) and Searles (2-for-5, 2 RBI, run) were just getting started.
Tribury (4-5) scored 11 more runs in the next three innings. The Scrappers are 7-4.
Torrington 9, Prospect 2: Dan Livingston pitched 7 innings allowing 2 runs (0 earned runs). Tico Arcienega was 4-5 (2b,3b), rbi, 2 runs. Omar Alcontara was 2-3,bb,rbi,run. Curtis Anthony was 2-4(2b),rbi,run. Jay Lovato was 3-4(2b), 2 rbi, run.
Naugatuck 7, Winsted 1: Lance Stevens allowed four  hits and one earned run in six innings for the Dogs (5-5). John Penn and Devin Murphy had a two-run double each for the Dogs. Ricky De Lo Rosa had a two-run single. Charlie Putnam had two hits for Winsted.
Amenia 12, Mazda Dodge 8: The Red Devils got as close as 10-7 at the end of six innings at Thomaston High School Sunday afternoon. In reality, though, the Monarchs were in control from the first inning, when they jumped out to a 4-0 lead, adding to it regularly through the game. Joel Judson was 3-for-4, with a triple; Ken Schufelt (2 hits, 4 RBI) and Matt Hosier had doubles for the Monarchs. Jordan Gomes (4-for-4), Kevin McCallum (double) and Brian O’Leary (double) were big hitters for the Red Devils. Amenia goes to 6-4; Mazda Dodge is 2-8.
Bristol 2, Bethlehem 1: The Bristol Greeners improved to 6-3 on the season with a 2-1 victory over Bethlehem who had won their previous seven games. Geoff Pierce pitched 7+ strong innings for Bristol, allowing just three hits and striking out six. For Bethlehem, Jason Krajeski went the distance, allowing just two runs on two hits and striking out 10. Bristol scored a run in the first after an RBI double by Doug Beaudoin plated Dan Rosa. Rosa also picked up his first save of the season after getting out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the bottom of the ninth.The Plowboys picked up hits off the bats of Tony Geraci, Matt Parlato, and Robert McMahon. The Greeners are 6-3; the Plowboys are 8-3.
Brass City 12, Thomaston 10: It was a hitter’s day as the Brass City Brew beat the Thomaston Spoilers 12-10 at Thomaston High School.  In a day mixed with defensive errors, walks, and hard hit balls, the Brew and Spoilers put up 13 combined runs through 4 innings. Brass City put up 6 runs in the 6th and 7th to take a 12-7 lead.  Thomaston mounted one more run, but fell short with 3 in the bottom of the 9th inning.  Brass City was lead by Eric Gormley 4-4 with a triple, 3 runs, and 3 rbi; Mike Verroneau 3-4 a double, 1 run, 3 rbi; and Marc DiDominzio 2-3, 2 runs, rbi.  Thomaston was lead by Gary Swierczynski 3-5 and 1 run; Joe Deming 1-4, 1 run, 2 rbi, and Mike McHugh 1-3, 2 runs, 1 rbi. Brass City is 7-2; the Spoilers are 6-5.

Watertown 16, Tri-Town 5: The Blaze jumped on Tri-Town pitchers for big innings early and late in a game at Community Field Sunday afternoon. Watertown scored five runs in the top of the first on six hits, capped by a bases-loaded triple by Brian Lemay. In the eighth inning, another six Blaze hits streamed eight runs across the plate, taking a 7-4 lead out of reach. Winning pitcher Tyler King (7 innings, 6 strikeouts) and closer Charlie Benson limited the Trojans to six hits. Five Watertown hitters — Chris Ayer, Nick Russo, Jay Spear, Brett Koliani (double) and Mike Mastrocola — had three hits each. Nick Lahoud and Casey McDonald had two hits each for Tri-Town. The Trojans are 3-6; Watertown is 9-2.
Terryville 12, Waterbury 6: Billy Armstong got the win 6 innings 7 hits 1 run 7 ks 2 bbs, Dan Baccaro had 3 hits 2dbls Keven Larose had 4 hit Mike Morrison had 2 hits and Tyler Wenz had 2 hits including a triple.
