Kenny kerski, the only father on Terryville stole the show throwing a complete game striking out 12 on fathers day. Zach Dandrea and Rob McLam doubled while Billy Armstrong collected 3 hits. Paul Novakowski had a hit and walk for Brass City.
Tribury Twisters 13 Valley Thunder 5
Miah Vargas and Tom Guisto 2 hits apiece. Ben Guisto picked up the win on the mound.
Wolcott Scrappers 3 Tri-Town Trojans 1
TJ Williams threw a complete game scattering seven hits while striking out eight to lead Wolcott. Ryan Andrade got the scoring started with a sac fly scoring Mike Perugini in the third. Sam Shurberg drove in Landon Gardella with a single to tie the game in the fifth. Matt Cyr gave Wolcott the lead for good with a two run double scoring Eric Soucy and Mike Perugini in the seventh. Naugatuck Dogs 5 Litchfield Cowboys 4
Naugy got on the board 2-0 in the first inning after a Devin Murphy RBI double scored Kyle Murphy and a Jeff Rustico RBI ground out scored Devin Murphy. Litchfield tied the game in the top of the 4th on a Sirgio 2 RBI double. The Dogs took the lead back in the bottom of the 4th after a George Harlamon 2 RBI single. Litchfield tied the game at 4 in the top of the 6th after a Travis Fitch RBI single and a Dustin Marfyack RBI ground out. Naugy loaded the bases in the bottom of the 9th and won the game on a Sean Miller-Jones walk off walk scoring George Harlamon. Macky Cianciolo got the win for the Dogs.
Torrington Rebels 9 Canton Crushers 1
The Torrington Rebels defeated the Canton Crushers 9-1 on Sunday at Fuessenich Park behind the pitching of Dan Livingston and solid team play. Livingston (4-0) struck out 10 batters and was involved in seven put-outs in the field. The Rebels combined for 16 hits from nine players. Nick Yousefzadeh, Adam Fuoco, Roberto Santiago, Cody Lemieux, Chris McKenna, and Chris Beck each had multiple hits. Taylor Riley led Canton with a single and a homerun off a leftfield light post, and Crushers’ pitcher James Spirito struck out nine batters. The Rebels’ record is now 7-1.
Watertown Blaze 5 Thomaston Threshers 2
The Watertown Blaze remain unbeaten improving to 9-0 with a 5-2 victory over the Thomaston Threshers. Steve Consiglio, Mike Johnston, Brooks Belter and Kyle Kennedy combined for 17 strikeouts and scattered 6 hits allowing 1 earned run. Kyle Pelkey and Nick De Lotto each had 3 hits while Chris Ayer added 2 hits and 2 stolen bases for the Blaze. Kevin McCallum had 2 hits for Thomaston.
